Liquid crystal
The liquid crystal singles mainly include alkenes, biphenyl, cyclohexane benzene, esters and other fluoro-containing compounds, while the liquid crystal intermediates mainly contain phenol, cyclohexanone, benzoic acid, cyclohexane acids and halogenated aromatics structures.

Liquid crystal is matter in a state which has properties between that of conventional liquid and that of solid crystal. When liquid crystal molecules are affected by external electric field, the arrangement would change and it possesses characteristics of photoelectric effect, which displays image on LCD.
